Sources....

Here you can view a variety of documents used as sources for the Brownbridge Family Tree as well as maps, photos of headstones, etc. You will need a PDF reader (Adobe or Foxit) to view the images. The PDF format will allow you to expand the image for closer reading/viewing. Also, you will need to allow scripts for this web site for the viewers to work.

  • 1913 picture postcard: a message from a postcard sent to George Albert and Margaret Brownbridge's cousins: Bernice and Marion Colegrove (daughters of Lena (Hardenbrook) Brownbridge's sister, Edith) in Arapaho, Oklahoma. It was mailed from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas on April 3, 1913.
  • The same postcard (front and back) sent to their dad, Lawrence, who was in "Athabaska Landing, Alberta, Canada" on April 5, 1913. We assume that Lena and the children were travelling to Canada to join Lawrence. We don't know if they went to Alberta or Saskatchewan at this time or how they travelled.
